002 / How We Work

How we work.

01

Brief & Rundown

We study the rundown, the venue and the must-capture moments: speeches, signings, handovers and group photos.

02

Site Check & Team Plan

Where possible, we check the venue beforehand. Each team member gets a position and a list of moments they are responsible for.

03

Event Day

The team arrives before the event starts to set up and stays until the last session. Selected photos can be delivered the same day for press releases or social media.

04

Editing

Photo selection and editing, plus a highlight video of the whole event.

05

Handover

Full photo set in about 1–2 business days and the highlight video in about 4 days to a week, via a cloud folder that is easy to share with your team.

004 / Equipment

What we bring.

  • Several full-frame cameras to cover multiple angles at once
  • 70–200mm f/2.8 telephoto lenses for stages and large rooms
  • 16–35mm wide lenses for atmosphere and group photos
  • DJI drone for outdoor events, subject to venue permission
005 / FAQ

Frequently asked questions.

How many people do you send?

It depends on the scale of the event. A half-day seminar usually needs one photographer and one videographer; a multi-room conference needs a bigger team. We recommend a team size after seeing the rundown.

When will we receive the photos?

Selected photos for press releases or social media can be sent the same day. The full set follows in about 1–3 business days.

Do you cover events outside Semarang?

Yes. We have worked in Jakarta, Yogyakarta, Surabaya, Jepara and other cities. Travel costs are listed separately in the proposal.

Can you accept purchase orders, contracts and official invoices?

Yes. Labstory is registered as CV. Selalu Senang Bercerita with an active NIB (business ID) and NPWP (tax ID), so we can follow corporate and government procurement processes.

What if the event runs late or the schedule changes?

We follow the actual rundown on the day. If the duration grows well beyond what was agreed, we talk to the organisers first before any extra cost applies.
