002 / How We Work

How we work.

01

Idea & Research

We start with one question: what should the audience feel after watching? Then we research the theme, the people and the locations.

02

Script & Pre-production

Script or story outline, storyboard, casting and production schedule. Everything is approved before the camera rolls.

03

Production

Shooting with a crew sized to what the story needs: director, camera, lighting and sound.

04

Post-production

Editing, color grading, sound design, music and subtitles. You review at every key stage.

05

Release

The film master plus short cuts for social media, ready for screenings, YouTube channels or festivals.

004 / Equipment

What we bring.

  • Panasonic Lumix S5IIX cameras
  • f/1.8–f/2.8 prime lenses for a cinematic look
  • Gimbal, field monitor and clapper for a film production workflow
  • DJI drone for establishing shots
005 / FAQ

Frequently asked questions.

How long does a short film take to produce?

About 6–8 weeks from research to release, depending on the length of the story and the number of shooting days.

We don’t have a script yet. Is that okay?

Yes. Most of our film projects start from an idea or a programme goal. Scriptwriting is part of pre-production.

Can you involve actors or talent?

Yes. We help with casting — professional actors, or people from your own community whose stories you want to tell.

Which formats will we receive?

A full-resolution film master plus short and vertical versions for social media. Subtitles can be prepared in Indonesian and English.

What about screening rights and festivals?

Usage, publication and festival submission rights are set out clearly in the contract from the start, so there are no questions once the film is finished.
